Hillary and Mahrley started out as Matt’s graduate interns in 2019, but soon realized they worked so well together that one year of fun wouldn’t be enough; so the three of them decided to start The Counseling Center of Great Lakes! Since starting the practice life has taken twists and turns they did not imagine, but their priority has been and continues to be caring for their clients through various treatment modalities, coming alongside them to aid in their healing journeys.

The hope of CCGL is to be able to offer support and encouragement to people in their communities by helping them find hope and healing through professional counseling
