CBT

Cognitive behavioral therapy rests on the premise that it’s not simply the events in our lives that cause us to become stressed, overwhelmed, or depressed, it’s the way we think about them. An individual’s thoughts or feelings reinforce faulty beliefs. These beliefs can then result in behaviors that negatively affect various aspects of life, including family, romantic relationships, work, and academics. Below you will find some helpful tools to help you learn a little more about CBT!

Daily Thought Record

The “Daily Thought Record” will help you journal when you have an automatic negative thought, identify which cognitive distortion coincides with that thought, and reframe the thought to form a more reasonable response.
